Casey Steadman
Bio
As Director of The Wolfsonian–FIU, Casey Steadman’s key areas of focus include strategic planning, digital engagement, public humanities, and establishing The Wolfsonian Arts District. A member of leadership since 2013, Casey previously served as the Wolfsonian’s Deputy Director, Business Affairs.
His extensive career in the museum field began primarily in retail and business operations and has expanded to include finance, information technology, human resources, earned revenue operations, and general museum operations. Casey’s financial and operational experience includes having steered capital projects and strategy for The Wolfsonian and, beforehand, serving as the Atlanta History Center’s longtime Chief Financial/Operating Officer.
As Director, Casey Steadman will continue The Wolfsonian’s critically acclaimed exhibition program while also expanding the institutional footprint. Committed to student success, he also plans to work collaboratively with The Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab to create not only a resource for students, but also one for the entire community, driving a renewed interest in the humanities that bridges public, academic, and civic spheres.
