We all have important stories to tell. But some stories have been systematically erased, marginalized, or misrepresented both in our past and our present. The WPHL seeks to combat this, through concerted efforts to “decolonize” our archives and modes of knowledge production, by offering venues, platforms, and forums for communities to tell their own stories on their terms. Through programming, workshops, oral histories, digital humanities projects, and more, the WPHL promotes knowledge equity through community storytelling.
