Our Projects
The Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab at FIU leads a multitude of projects, from exhibitions to digital storytelling, from working groups to community collaborations & activations. Some of these are ongoing and others have run their course. In all the work that we do, we pledge to co-create, collaborate and share with all of the communities and individuals in our midst equitably and with access in mind.

Looking Ahead
This is an exciting time for our lab. We continue to organize and participate in community-based events, focus on securing grant funding and seek donors interested in supporting our ongoing work.
In addition, we intend to expand opportunities for students, faculty and staff to engage with us by organizing events at our MMC and BBC campuses, provide start up research grants, offer micro credentials in the field of Public Humanities and expand our internship program.
Public Humanities Curriculum
As FIU’s premier public-facing hub for all things humanities, the Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab continues to work to build a curriculum that aligns with the engaged work that we all do, at the university and in the community.
