As part of the WPHL’s commitment to engaging and reaching public audiences both in and outside of the traditional academy, our staff regularly curates and designs new exhibitions—digital and otherwise—on some of today’s most pressing topics. From understanding Miami’s LGBTQ past to the origins and influences of the Harlem Renaissance to the ways we communicate public health during a pandemic, the WPHL is committed to rethinking and responding to how diverse audiences consume and engage material that resonates with their lived experiences.

The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum
The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum's mission is to provide transformative experiences through art; collect, exhibit, and interpret art across cultures; and advance FIU’s stature as a top tier research university. As a Smithsonian Affiliate and one of the largest academic art museums in South Florida, the Frost Art Museum provides the community with free access to world-class art that spans cultures and time periods.
Jewish Museum of Florida
The Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU (JMOF-FIU) established in 1995, is the only museum dedicated to telling the story of more than 250 years of Florida Jewish history, arts and culture, with a growing collection of more than 100,000 items. It is located in the trendy SoFi area of South Beach at 301 Washington Avenue.
The Wolfsonian—FIU
Rooted in the greatest century of growth and change humanity has ever known—1850 to 1950—The Wolfsonian traces the odyssey from agrarian to urban, colonial empires to Cold War superpowers, the first spike of the Transcontinental Railroad to the advent of television.
