This project was a collaboration that took place at Little Bahamas of Coconut Grove among Backroom Sessions, the WPHL and Mr. Anthony Witherspoon’s Taste of Coco Bahamas.
This neighborhood embodies the culture, history, and contribution of thousands of Bahamians who not only live and work in Miami, but also were integral to the city’s founding.
These concerts in the "Little Bahamas of Coconut Grove" highlighted the cultural richness of a neglected and underserved corner of our city, including performances by Still Blue and other Indy Bands as well as Jazz and Blues music. These concerts were in collaboration with Miami soundscapes and ran during 2022-2023.
